Interview with the heroine:

1.Lauren, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I'm not sure how interesting it is, but I survived being kidnapped by a car thief.

2. What do you do for fun?

I've had a crush on Antony since high school. I'm enjoying hanging out with him so much. I also enjoy sports cars and sometimes hang out with my dad while he works on them. He's a lawyer by day, but likes to tinker with his cars at night.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?

I put off driving. My mother and boyfriend died in a car accident and my therapist said I suffer from something called PTSD. I'm working on overcoming it because I want to be normal, but it's so hard.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?

I'm afraid of driving on the dangerous mountain where my mom and boyfriend died.

5. What do you want out of life?

I would love to be a successful artist.

6. What is the most important thing to you?

My dad and Antony. Also, my faith in God. My mom taught me about God and now that she's gone to be with Him, I try to live right because she's probably up there with God looking down on me and I want to make her proud.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

I don't have much time to read. I'm a college student and an artist and that keeps me pretty busy.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I'd love to get over my fear of speed. Antony drives a race car and I'm too terrified to go watch him race.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

No pets, but I love them. One day, I want a dog.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I would go back to the day I was born and spend every possible moment with my mom. I miss her so much!

Interview with the hero:

1. Antony, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I know who killed my uncle and I plan to put him away for life.

2. What do you do for fun?

I love cars. I love to race and I love to work on cars too.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?

I put off dealing with my son's mother because she's such a pain.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?

Losing Lauren. I've had a crush on her for so long and now that she's a part of my life, I can't live without her. I'm terrified because no one approves of our relationship.

5. What do you want out of life?

I want it all. A wife. Kids. A little white house with a picket fence. I'm working toward those goals right now by going to college to be a lawyer.

6. What is the most important thing to you?

My mom and Lauren.

7. Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book?

I work and I'm in college, so no time for reading.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

If I could change one thing about myself, it would be never having kept secrets from Lauren. I'm afraid that when she finds out, she'll never forgive me.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

No pets, but I'd like to have a dog one day.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I'd love to go back in time to when I was born and spend every spare moment with my dad. He passed away in accident at work and I miss him so much!

Author Bio: K. Dawn Byrd is an author of inspirational novels in several genres, including historical, suspense, romance, and young adult. Some of her favorite things are chocolate, cars, and her pets. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and riding down country roads in the passenger seat of her husband's Corvette Stingray.
